Boeing Defense, Space, & Security (BDS) located in Oklahoma City, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop leading edge solutions to directly support the warfighter. Primary work assignment will be across the AWACS and AEW&C platform working with suppliers, internal laboratories building command and control electronics.
Boeing Oklahoma City is experiencing growth across all of its supported platforms due to the award of multiple new contracts. Boeing OKC supports the following platforms; Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) for USAF, Saudi, France and NATO, Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) for Australia, Turkey, USAF, United Kingdom and Korea, B-1 Strike Bomber, B-2 Stealth Bomber, B-52 Heavy Bomber, and the ALCM weapon. Also, US and International Head of State special purpose aircraft. These platforms continue to be updated to keep them relevant and supportive of emerging military needs.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
- Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.
- Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
- Assists in implementing manufacturing plans.
- Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
- Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies. Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City .
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Engineering degree
- Previous electronic manufacturing experience.

Summary pay range: $70,550 - $95,450
