Mid-Atlantic Crane is a leader in the overhead crane industry, operating for 40 years and has built its reputation on serving the steel, paper, textile and injection mold industries, among others. Our specialty is designing, manufacturing and installing overhead bridge cranes and runway systems. We are seeking qualified New Equipment Wiring Technician.. Our crane wiring technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining overhead crane systems, including hoists. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Aftermarket Operations or Territory Manager.

We are looking for full time New Equipment Wiring Technicians in North Carolina; focusing on Raleigh, Greenville, and the Fayetteville areas to help us continue growing our reputable crane business.

Strong candidates will have the following experience/qualifications:

  • Wires new cranes in fabrication process.
  • Troubleshoots electrical field issues for team members in field.
  • Assists and leads in field when needed for start-ups and load testing.
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on needed supplies or issues.
  • Provide support to the service or fabrication staff as needed.
  • Use latest technologies to provide office with key details from service calls.
  • Conduct detailed inspections gathering all required information for easy quoting of repairs.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical services on cranes and hoists.
  • Understand OSHA codes and CMAA guidelines for cranes and hoists.
  • Observe and promote safety at every job site.
  • Complete all MAC required work orders, inspection reports and other paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Clock in and out of all jobs.
  • Serve on-call for 1 week at a time as assigned.

Candidates must be able to work in various conditions and work in outdoor elements. Candidates must be able to life 50lbs and have the ability to climb up & Down ladders. Candidates cannot be afraid of heights.

An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all pre-hire and post-hire requirements, which includes criminal background check, drug screen, and DMV check. Additionally, candidates must be able to get onto Military Bases by successfully passing background checks and having a valid, NC Real ID.'
