Westwood Post Acute is seeking a committed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and to join our AWESOME TEAM!

Schedule:

• Wednesday to Saturday
• 8:00AM to 5:00PM PST

Pay Rate:

• $17.59 per hour as student
• $22 per hour once passed the examination
• $24 per hour once get certified (CNA)

The details of our program and what you will do:

• If selected, you will report in the facility for the first day of class.
• Your class hours will be allotted for Theory and Skills as part of your training
• After you complete the theory portion of the training, you will go through the clinical portion of your training.
• Upon completion of training, you will then get ready to schedule for the state exam.
• Once you pass your CNA exam, there will be a job waiting for you upon graduation as Certified Nursing Assistant at Westwood Post Acute!

Education/Experience you need to quality:

• At least High School Diploma
• Experience in Healthcare Industry is a plus
• Experienced Nursing Assistant is preferred

Qualification:

• Must comply to Vaccination for COVID 19 adherence to California DOH Policy
• Must willing to commute
• - Preferred - no sponsorship needed to work in California
• Clear written and verbal English Communication Skills
• Must be skillful in Basic Organizational
• Must be knowledgeable in Basic Computer Skills
• Ability to think and work independently with direction from supervisor
• Efficient and consistent communication with patients, co-workers and other healthcare professionals in our facility
• Professional, Time-sensitive, and can endure high-pressure situations
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and patient assessment skills

Job Description Summary: A Nursing Assistant, or a Nursing Aide, provides healthcare and support to patients in a medical facility. Their main duties include offering basic physical assistance to patients, feeding patients according to their dietary needs and recording vital signs.

Other daily tasks are the following:

• Help patients use the bathroom
• Clean and bathe patients or residents
• Maintain patients’ hygiene and change bedding
• Turn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds
• Serve meals and help patients eat their food
• Measure vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
• Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a Registered Nurse or Doctor
