Occupational Therapist (Outpatient)

Shift: *Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:00) Tuesday - Friday

PTO Standard:* All RTO required up front., no exceptions.

Pay Rate: $65 per hour*

We are looking for a California Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric team at a Murrieta Acute Care Hospital.
Responsibilities:

Independently evaluate the functional ability of patients through the administration, interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, and patient/family interview.
*
Create individualized treatment and educational plans and provide patient/family counseling and training.
*
Develop and implement innovative and specific treatment plans to maximize the patients functional potential or return to previous level of functioning, based on clinical findings.
*
Consult with their medical team and allied health professionals and document all pertinent clinical findings to render a comprehensive, family-based, or individual intervention plan.
*
Must have proficiency in the care of patients with feeding and swallowing impairments is often needed.

Requirements
Requirements:

*
Experience in pediatric feeding and swallowing difficulties with pts ranging from 8months up is essential, 0-7 months preferred; experience with swallowing disorders.

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program OR Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program if graduated prior to 2004

• 3 years of experience required.

• Experience in pediatric general developmental therapy

• BLS (AHA)

• CA OT License or eligible if new grad/licensed in another state.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.

• All on-site travelers are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19
