Job Description: Part-Time Entry-Level Game & Console Refurbisher

As a Game & Console Refurbisher you’ll be responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, cleaning, restoring, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Your duties include organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels. Cleaning stock to make it fit for resale. Organizing the stock based on quality and resale value. Wrapping stock and making it ready for shipping. Applying shipping labels and storing until sold.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unboxing incoming merchandise and sorting based on repair needs and item type.
• Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
• Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
• Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
• Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
• Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
• Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
• Cleaning and repairing various types of consoles, games, and accessories.
• Identifying refurbished conditions to assign to the proper value type.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge and experience using multiple computer systems including Microsoft office (excel, word). Willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to utilize various machines for cleaning, repairing, and packaging.
• Ability to work on feet for up to 8 hours and carry up to 50 pounds. This role requires bending, pulling, lifting, carrying, and cleaning throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to work independently, safely, and work well with others.
• Quick to learn new skills and driven to develop as the company grows.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, will consider individuals currently enrolled in High School if able to meet the minimum hour requirement.
• Must be willing to work 20-30 hours per week.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Gives strong attention to detail and follows instructions.
