Job description
We are seeking a pharmacist for our location in Pearl River, NY.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Dispenses prescribed medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care.
- Answers questions and provides information to both pharmacy customers and physicians on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
- Oversee prescription processing activities to ensure quality and standard of practice is maintained.
- Ensure policies and procedures are in compliance with board of pharmacy requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Must meet NY State Board of Pharmacy licensing requirements; 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour
