We are looking for a highly motivated Automotive Parts Advisor to coordinate parts for vehicle service and repair. You will work closely with our service manager and service team to provide excellent customer service to our customers. This position requires a minimum of 1 year experience working in the same or similar position.

Responsibilities:

·Provide parts price quotations and parts availability including delivery timing to customers, and to our service team.

·Specify and fulfill pending parts orders for wholesale/retail/shop customers including monitor incoming ordered items and process them to add to pending outgoing orders, monitor backordered items of pending orders for follow up with customers, notify shop manager of fulfillment problems of pending outgoing orders, add Fedex shipping charges to invoices before submitting for payment process.

·Maintain existing wholesale/ retail customer parts accounts and develop/ capture new customers. Manage customer relationships via telephone and email to drive parts sales.

·Ensure coverage of incoming phone calls and emails by responding to all inquiries same day in support of seizing potential parts sales opportunities.

·Process requests for vehicle data cards, including validation of proof of ownership, ordering cards from Daimler with follow up as needed, and distributing data cards to dealers/ customers upon receipt.

·Research and procure salvage or aftermarket new parts which are no longer available for use.

·Provide logistical support to the service shop in the delivery of parts and sublet services externally sourced.

Qualifications:

Must have minimum 1 year of experience in the following:

·Automotive Retail/ Whsl: knowledge of retail/ wholesale processes and procedures, with emphasis in parts.

- Automotive Technical: General knowledge of automotive technical information systems and repair/ diagnostic procedures.

·Business General: Proficient knowledge of fundamental business practices and concepts that impact the success and profitability of an organization.

·Parts and Accessories: Proficient knowledge of parts and accessories businesses, marketing strategies and other business practices.

·Sales: Knowledge of selling processes and procedures used by the industry to create a positive customer experience and encourage repeat business.

·Must have excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with customers and prospects to maximize sales potential.

· Must be able to work a full time work schedule.

· Requires valid drivers license.

· Travel domestically.

· Work weekends and overtime when required.
