Job description

Electronics manufacturer in Beaverton is seeking a payroll specialist for production crew and to partner with HR team.

Payroll duties:

• Processing biweekly payroll, maintaining payroll system, on-site checks, verifying supporting documents, processing agency timecards/invoices
• Posting payroll journal entries to the GL, and completing related reconciliations
• Monthly Worker's Compensation reporting
• Assist with annual 401k Census and Audit
• Annual W2 preparation
• Assist with Accounts Payable and other Accounting duties such as: Return-to-Vendor account monitoring, credit card reconciliations, Fixed Asset record maintenance and journal entries
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need:

• Knowledge of payroll, payroll taxes, and garnishments
• Computer system proficiency
• Math skills and ability
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately with numbers required.
• Detail oriented, accuracy, and thoroughness required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Communicate in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and make productive use of time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or bachelor degree
• Previous payroll experience

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
• 1+ years experience in Payroll processing
