Accolade Security Inc. will be seeking seasonal employee monitor to provide rule enforcement and local guidelines for a community pool between May 26, 2023, and September 4, 2023

The pool monitor operating hours are Friday, Sunday and Wednesday from 10:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 11:00am to 7:00pm

Position Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome residents to the pool area.
• Controlling access to the entrance points and recording pool usage.
• Enforcement of pool rules and regulations; this includes ensuring that all residents, on-premises are following the pool rules and regulations.
• Report any unsafe or inappropriate situations to a supervisor.
• Watching swimmers at the pool ensuring safety at all times.
• Ensuring the pool area is prepared for residents
• Sanitize the pool handrails every hour
• Work cooperatively to ensure a positive experience for all residents
• Perform other related duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to interact, answer questions, resolve concerns, deal with conflict in person and work positively and effectively with homeowners and staff at all levels.
• Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Weekend hours, including holidays
• Must be able to work effectively and cheerfully in an environment, which may be stressful due to adversarial situations resulting in the proper performance of duties.
• Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities.
• Position involves sitting, standing, kneeling
• Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail-oriented, and with good reasoning skills.
