How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Your primary role is to include designing web applications, maintaining the aesthetics of web applications, ensuring that the web applications highly usable and incorporate the needs of its users. You should also analyze the behaviors and patterns of users to improve overall functionality the meet and exceed business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business teams to understand the desired product outcomes.
- Inform business in creating roadmap and/or UX vision
- Help business to understand its problem space, opportunities and user-needs
- Helps to coach business on evolving interface/application base practices
- Create a shared repository of user needs, research, research methodologies and findings.
- Analyze user research to determine what the project needs and how to structure the content.
- Conduct usability studies to know how the user accesses content and navigates through the product. Analyze how the user interacts with the elements and content on each screen.
- Standardize and implement UX processes
- Understand how the end user will interact with the platform
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for stakeholders and dev teams
- Develop the structure and flow to make that possible Use your solid grasp of user research, information architecture, interaction design, and content strategy to clearly communicate to teams and clients.
- Put together a blueprint (wireframes & prototypes) to start the build process.
- Analyze user research and blueprints to start designing each user interface.
- Work with Front-End team to ensure UI meets standards and is consistent.
- Once a project is live, ensure it is accurate and up to date with content. Look at accessibility issues and recommend updates accordingly. Analyze interaction data to optimize each screen to best serve the user.
- Standardize and document UI components and patterns to interfaces incorporating Delta standards, brand, Front-End standards and tech-stack standards.
- Advocates for user needs and good design
- Advise teams of UX and software development processes to ensure business outcomes

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Understand interface best practices
- Experience as a UI/UX architect.
- Superior computer programming skills.
- Complex problem-solver.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a flexible approach and be creative.
- Focused on outcomes and opportunities
- Expert in UX research methodologies
- Experience with back-end operational ecosystems
- Expert in visualization of data and complex UIs
- Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
