Come join our growing team! Belmark is currently seeking a Press Operator Assistant/Plate Mounter in Phoenix, AZ to run our world class equipment to produce a high quality product in a timely fashion for our customers. This position works on our 2nd shift rotation.

Pay:

$23.00 per hour
$1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift

Hours:

2nd shift; 2:00pm - 12:00am, Monday - Thursday

What will I do in this role?

• Operate a narrow web press at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce a high quality product.

• Accurately mounting plates onto cylinders, washing plates and filing them according to job number.

• Comply with all Belmark operating procedures and work instructions.

• Must take accurate notes for reference guide when operating press independently.

• Ensure plates are mounted accurately, according to rewind position.

• Ensure all plates for a job are mounted in a timely manner, according to the schedule, to keep presses running at all times.

• Wash plates from completed jobs.

• Peel sticky back off of cylinders.

• File plates according to job number.

• Fill alcohol, acetate and soap bottles.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.

• Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.

• Math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.

• Ability to operate a computer.

• Regular attendance is required. May be required to work some overtime.
