Due to growth, we are currently seeking a Press Operator in Portland, OR

In this Press Operator position, you operate assigned Flexographic printing equipment to create a label product that meets the customer’s specifications.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate press and run print jobs.
• Set up press to run the print job.
• Read, understand, and follow production work orders.
• Utilize daily dispatch prioritizing production order due dates.
• Produce label product that meets the quality standards.
• Produce label products while maintaining efficient operation of equipment.
• Maintain equipment and identify raw materials and tooling.
• Accurately report production numbers daily.
• Conduct quality checks of the finished product.
• Troubleshoot production errors using the root cause analysis process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; sweeping floors and emptying trash as needed.
• Check equipment for calibration and alert supervisors and management if equipment is out of calibration.

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of machining or related work experience
• Eager to learn and be trained
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude required
• Team player with a professional positive demeanor
• Self-starter
• Detail-oriented
• Good basic math and measurement skills.
• Dependable.
