Your role at Clorox:
To serve as the Quality Department representative and ensure that finished goods meet the quality specifications and standards required by Burt’s Bees.
In this role, you will:
- Perform Visual inspections of production lines
- Audit line clearance
- Perform AQL audits on both Finished Goods and Components
- Complete Quality Release Reports / Packets
- Monitor Release Dates of Finished Goods / Batches
- Proficient with the capability to review Zontec Data from both the production lines and quality lab to ensure that finished goods meet the required quality requirements.
- Review documentation –DTR,ECMU Log Books, Line Clearance and Sample Chain of Custody, Pallet Tickets, Shop Orders, along with any additional documentation as needed.
- Ability to conduct a Quality Investigation and complete associated quality documentation in Intelex
- Perform and Coordinate inventory transactions and other various functions within SAP
- Perform R.F.I.s to help improve both the Manufacturing Facility and Quality Department
- Work with Materials Management to ensure that all non-conforming material is transferred to designated areas in 701.
- Create, revise and/or review procedures (SOPs, Job Aids and One Point Lessons) as needed
- Provide interactive training to address cGMP requirements or as need for quality development
- Complete annual cGMP, Safety, and Sustainable Training
- Complete both General and Safety Improvements quarterly
- Serve as Zontec backup
- Ability to understand Vendor Information
- Operate check weighs, scales and torque testers as needed
- Any additional duties as assigned
Secondary Responsibilities
- Perform Penetration, Color, Odor and SPG testing
- Release Bulk in SAP
- Approval and Rejection labeling of bulk and raw material
- Manage new component standards and inspection.
What we look for:
- Must demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for several hours a day
- Must be able to stoop, kneel and squat periodically while inspecting or sampling
- Must be capable of working in a heavy manufacturing environment where they are subject to loud noise and hot and cold temperatures
- Experience and knowledge of applicable regulations
- Follow company safety and good manufacturing practice regulations and procedures
- Interpersonal cohesion with work team. Ability to work effectively within all levels of the organization – from the shop floor to upper management - is a must
- Flexibility in assignments – Flow to work
- Detail oriented and demonstrated ability in analytical reasoning is required
- Experience in using SAP preferred
- Ability to work independently and also within a team environment
Education Level/Degree; Years and Type of Experience:
- AA / AS Degree in a related field OR two (2) years of progressively responsible, related work experience in the manufacturing of industry (Pharmaceutical, Food or Cosmetics preferable
Starting Base Pay: $21.15 per hour; Shift Differential: No
