Due to growth, Aalberts Surface Technologies is searching for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Lansing, MI.

If you have a degree in Metallurgy or proven experience in quality assurance and developing and analyzing heat treatment processes, this is a great opportunity you need to explore!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working with customers in new projects for product and heat treat process development.
• Assist customers with product quality problems, product information, prototype assistance and other special requests.
• Respond to customer complaints by completing a defined problem-solving process with root cause analysis and a corrective action plan. Let employees, supervisors, managers, sales and Quality Manager/Plant Manager know of any complaints or problems.
• Working with customers in new projects for product and heat treat process development.
• Assist customers with product quality problems, product information, prototype assistance and other special requests.
• Respond to customer complaints by completing a defined problem solving process with root cause analysis and a corrective action plan. Let employees, supervisors, managers, sales and Quality Manager/Plant Manager know of any complaints or problems.
• Write standard procedures, control plans, process specification sheets metallurgical reports following Quality Core Tools procedures.
