Raw Material Specialist (Statesville, SC)

Our Statesville, NC plant is looking for a Raw Material Specialist to join our growing team. In this role you will oversee the warehouse raw materials and production supplies, by ensuring items are accurately received and that the supply areas are neat and tidy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive supply orders and ensure documentation matches order received
• Unload building materials and ensure they are stored appropriately- Forklift certification a plus!
• Keep warehouse and raw materials organized and easily accessible and find ways to maximize the use of the available space
• Maintain all outward aspects of the property, as time permits
• Keep warehouse and inventory areas neat and tidy
• Monitor inventory counts and update Purchasing Manager weekly

• Highly motivated and works well with little supervision
• Takes initiative to handle task without being asked
• Plan to ensure task are taken care of ahead of time
• Detailed oriented
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different environments
• Skilled in critical thinking and problem solving

Compensation:

• $18+ per hour, based on experience.
