Job Summary
Billing Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Aging Resolutions Specialist responsible for working alongside a small staff in our Collections department to research and investigate payer denials. The Aging Resolutions Specialist will be responsible for discovering and investigating denial trends and professionally communicating the information to leadership. The candidate will also assist with correcting claims for resubmission. A strong candidate will have the ability to work independently. This applicant will need to understand patient confidentiality and handle the information accordingly. The proper candidate should have excellent communication and customer service skills to confidently escalate claim issues over the phone or email with payers. This applicant will also be cross trained in other Collections areas in order to assist staff in times of high volume. This a full time 40 hour a week position working Monday through Friday. Starting hours will vary depending on applicant location as it is a fully remote position with our home office located in Arizona.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Online payer portal research and phone calls to payers to obtain claim status
• Investigate payment denials and determine root causes
• Working payer denial projects
• Escalating claim issues appropriately with the payer
• Communication of issues with Collections Leadership and Account Management
• Claim correction and resubmission
• Cross training in the Medical Records department to assist them with payer requests
• These duties and responsibilities are not the full scope of the job description and are subject to change upon company and client demand. Additional tasks may be assigned from time to time dependent on current or projected business need.
