Northbrook Manor is seeking RN's for 1st and 2nd Shifts

Northbrook Manor Care Center is seeking skilled and experienced Registered Nurses to join our growing healthcare team. In this position, you will work with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to provide care, monitor health conditions, and administer medicine to our elderly residents. Extensive medical knowledge as well as a compassionate, positive, hard-working attitude is preferred. You will provide a vital component to our residents' daily living care and you will have an opportunity to make a positive impact in our residents' lives!

We DO NOT have mandatory overtime.

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient vitals; detect changes in symptoms, health, and/or pain
• Administer medication to the residents
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Communicate clearly and directly with patients; provide emotional support to patients and family members under stress
• Fill out and update patient documents and charts
• Continue professional education by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s and/or associate’s degree in nursing or related field
• Valid nursing license in state, required
• Understanding of standard medical practices and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills; great bedside manner
