Procede Software is the leading provider of Dealer Management Solutions for the commercial trucking industry!!! Today, our enterprise dealer management system—Excede—is used by hundreds of dealerships across the United States and Canada to improve their operational efficiency and drive performance across all areas of their business.
Procede Software is looking to add a Sales Executive to our growing Sales team! This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion to win, a perpetual desire to learn, are adaptable in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
This is a Hunter Sales role where you will be prospecting for new business; by meeting virtually and in-person with Executive level decision makers and stakeholders.
This position is 100% remote - anywhere within the US!

Primary Job Responsibilities*
- Manages sales efforts with the support of the sales and marketing team; making every effort to achieve or exceed sales goals and objectives, helping to increase market share.
- Utilizes company prepared marketing materials and identifies areas of opportunity for new and updated communications.
- Maintains a level of competency in system operations, products including upgrades and enhancements, and services including implementation and support.
- Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of industry competitors and partners, with ability to communicate Procede distinction, differentiation, benefits, and value of proposed solutions.
- Builds and maintains relationships with prospects, customers, and partners.
- Identifies new business within existing vertical market and identifies new market opportunities.
- Uses consultative sales approach to identify prospect needs, decision makers, timeline, and budget.
- Generates sales leads, initiates cold calls, and follows the sales cycle through demos, email and phone follow-up, handling objections, and contracting.
- Discusses specific operational and business needs with customers and prospects and prepares contract for software, services, and maintenance.
- Responsible for complete knowledge of all general conditions on the contract.
- Manages the transition process from sales to implementation.
- Maintains a customer database, using CRM, and will produce detailed sales reports summarizing activity when necessary.
- Monitors sales activity and results and evaluates against goals.
- Attends events, trade-shows, and sales meetings.
- Supports the development of annual sales plan, strategies, goals, objectives, and special sales projects.
- Attends training classes to stay up to date with changes and enhancements to company products and services.
- Researches market and industry to understand competition, market trends, and consumer attitudes.

- Skills in listening and problem resolution, and ability to respond calmly and professionally when addressing the needs of staff, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and accurately, while demonstrating initiative, patience, and courtesy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials for grammatical and spelling errors.
- Ability to practice good time management, punctuality, and reliability.
- Demonstrated ability to process information timely and complete work within deadlines, and able to cope with peak periods of activity.
- Flexible, well organized, and able to prioritize work and numerous tasks.
- Ability to independently multi-task and follow assignments through completion with innovation.
- Relies on experience, instructions, guidelines, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, while demonstrating creativity and latitude.
- Working knowledge of computers and electronic data processing; experience with Microsoft Office software, web tools, and Customer Relationship Management tools; working knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is required. Related experience may substitute for college course work on a year for year basis.
- Two (2) years demonstrated experience in the field or in a related area.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit at a desk, computer terminal or meeting table for a long period of time.
- Ability to use hands and fingers or adoptive equipment to safely operate assigned equipment.
- Ability to use telephone frequently for a long period of time, and to hear and speak clearly by telephone.
- Must have working vehicle and valid driver’s license.
