Responsibilities:
Duties include:
- Serve as a technical resource to the MDA/DVR team for all seeker related technologies.
- Develop and manage inputs to the MDA Science and Technology Roadmap
- Support test planning, execution, and analysis activities.
- Monitor progress of various suppliers in development of seeker related technologies.
- Inform the MDA Technology Roadmap about advances in seeker systems.
- Conduct independent analysis of proposed concepts.
- Develop reports, briefings, and meeting summaries.
- Support government customer at coordination meetings with other government agencies and site visits with contractors and university affiliated research centers.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate projects across multiple organizations.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in managing the development of technical products.
- Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications, developing and presenting briefing and preparing technical reports.
- Must be able to work at our customer site on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.
- Self-motivated yet able to work well within a development team.
- Knowledge of BMDS to successfully develop and optimize technologies for next generation missions utilizing system and component analysis principles required to successfully transition technology with system architecture.
- 12 years’ experience in engineering discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in seeker and/or missile systems.
- Active security clearance required. Desired TS/SCI
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field required
