1 Search Group is currently supporting one of our clients with their search for a Senior Accountant. The position will be based in their Fort Lauderdale offices and will support the company with daily and monthly accounting duties. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for handling the following duties:

• Assist with full cycle accounting duties pertaining to company investments
• Bank reconciliation and investment reconciliation - reconcile multiple accounts
• Post journal entries and work within the general ledger
• Create financial statements and review for accuracy
• Support month end close and generate reports as needed by management
• Support AP and AR functions
• Support with special projects and audit prep

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience with general accounting and month end close duties
• Ability to multi-task/handle special projects
• Strong Excel skills
• Associate or Bachelors Degree is required with a focus in Accounting or Finance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
