Our Marketing and Loyalty team is the strategic force behind United’s industry-leading brand and experience, supporting revenue growth by turning customers into lifelong United flyers. Our marketing communications, market research and brand teams drive travelers’ familiarity and engagement with the United brand. Our product, design and service teams bring the signature United brand to life in our clubs and onboard our aircraft, ensuring a seamless, premier experience. The Inflight Entertainment (IFE) team is responsible for maximizing the impact of the platform to enhance customer experience and drive engagement. The team leads all aspects of product strategy, technical development, testing and maintenance, content strategy, content partnerships and media.
The Senior Analyst for IFE Communications and Reporting will support projects that focus on United's IFE future state and deliver on the strategic roadmap to enhance customer experience and drive attributable revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with entertainment partners and departments across United to support, manage, and execute the seatback entertainment and strategic roadmaps with a focus on customer functionality, innovation and enterprise value. Contribute project status details on an ongoing basis.
- Perform regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting on system performance, usage, and customer satisfaction. Maximize the use of research and insights to create customized presentations to support IFE projects.
- Collaborate with our finance counterparts to manage budget, process invoices, and track and attribute revenue
- Maintain onboard content and IFE seatback products. May include support during Customer acceptance testing and with fly-along on an as-needed basis to determine actual software performance and customer satisfaction.
Note: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including days worked onsite at our Chicago office and remotely.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years of marketing or customer communication related experience
- Experience with content marketing and editorial planning
- Experience with data and financial analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Able to represent the United Airlines brand and accurately produce content according to guidelines and industry best practices
- Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree
- Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent related working experience
- Previous airline experience
- Previous experience in digital, media or entertainment industries
- Previous experience developing content for inflight entertainment systems or consumer media company
