Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring for a Senior Bridge Engineer with the desire to work on infrastructure projects that change the fabric of our community. What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately

• Extract engineering information from CAD drawings

• Prepare engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs

• Complete a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes

• Frequently interface with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments

• Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials

• Review supplier drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses

• Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents

• Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level Engineers working on the same project

• May be required to provide the seal and signature of the professional engineer, as appropriate, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances

• May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)

• 8+ years of related work experience

• Professional Engineer registration may be required

• Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
  

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• INDOT project experience

• Familiarity utilizing LEAP Bridge or Merlin-DASH

• Concrete bridge design experience

Salary Range:

$81,500.00 - $142,600.00
