JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Workday HCM Business Intelligence Analyst, is a member of the HRIS team providing for the Human Capital technology, analytics and reporting needs of Vanderbilt University Medical Center. This position will be part of a team responsible for providing advanced analytics, dashboards and recurring functional reporting on a weekly and monthly cadence. The team supports the technology and reporting for nearly all facets of HR including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance Excellence, Compensation, HR Operations and Compliance. This position is accountable for analyzing data, developing insights and KPI’s and formulating recommendations and data governance for the HCM organization. This role requires proficiency with Workday including standard reporting, custom reporting and workday dashboards. Exposure to People Analytics and Prism is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to mentor others are required. (Note: This role can be a 100% remote position)



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Problem solver who enjoys analyzing data, providing insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Analyzes and curates large volumes of data.
  • Develops clear, easy-to-understand data visualizations.
  • Defines, recommends and documents KPI’s and data governance strategies.
  • Proactively identifies and implements improvement opportunities for system process, data and user experience, and make related recommendations.
  • Work with internal clients, including senior management, to understand and define HCM requirements, then design, develop and deliver complex Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Maintains knowledge of HR data, data structures, and applies knowledge of the business to customer reports and delivers meaningful information.
  • Reviews reports to identify data integrity issues and provides feedback to internal partners to ensure issues are address in a timely fashion.
  • Lead efforts including requirements gathering, design and configuration, documentation, application testing, implementing enhancements and upgrades as well as new functionality investigation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong proficiency with Workday, including standard and custom reporting as well as workday dashboards.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability and experience mentoring others as required.

DESIRED:

  • Experience with Workday People Analytics and Prism.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
:

  • 5 years relevant experience (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)

Physical Requirements/Strengths needed & Physical Demands:

  • Sedentary category requiring exertion up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and uses negligible amounts of force to move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
