Experienced and motivated Auto Service Manager needed for our busy service department at Sunset Kia of Venice, a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of new car dealerships.

Automotive Service Manger Duties

As an Automotive Service Manager with Sunset Automotive Group, you will be responsible for leading our dealership's team of service employees to maximize service sales, efficiency, and customer loyalty. Expert customer service skills are essential. We are looking for an energetic individual with strong team-building and organizational skills who can lead our service department to be the best it can be.

In this role, you must have the ability to run a service department efficiently, while building and maintaining a team of loyal employees, a strong customer base, and the department's bottom line.

Some of your specific duties will include:

  • Recruiting and training a team of service employees, including technicians of all levels and detailers/car washers
  • Working with GM on marketing plan to current and potential service customers
  • Monitoring the work of the team and keeping them motivated to meet their targets including hours turned and CSI numbers
  • Promote accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism in your work, with clients, and within your service team
  • Demonstrating an understanding that business is built on excellent customer satisfaction and being committed to ensuring first-rate customer service from the team
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns as needed
  • Attending training courses paid for and provided by the dealership at no cost to you
  • Complying with all company policies, procedures and safety standards and ensuring your team does the same

Service Manager Requirements

As an Automotive Service Manager, you must embody honesty, integrity and superior customer service. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges. It is also important that you possess excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

The ideal Automotive Sales Manager will also have:
