Sewing Machine Operator
The Inventive-Group™ in Mountain Home, Idaho is expanding our industrial sewing department and we are looking for a talented individual with a desire to learn how to sew, cut patterns, and help us create new designs for our line of “Made in America” products. We have all new sewing machines housed in our state-of-the-art facility. You will sew custom offroad products for Razorback Offroad™ and fishing gear for Fish Fighter® Products. As a bonus, we have a Hot Rod Shop with a experienced automotive upholsterer that would enjoy teaching you the art of automotive upholstery. Job Details:
- Operate and maintain sewing machines
- Operate and maintain embroidery machine
- Use templates to cut fabrics and foams (We will teach this to you)
- Assist the Upholstery Dept to repair, or replace automobile upholstery, convertible, and vinyl tops
- Use blades, scissors, or electric knives
- Have Fun

Qualifications:
- Experience with sewing is a plus but not required.
- Embroidery experience is a big plus but not required
- Automotive upholstery knowledge would be a great plus although not a requirement
- High attention to detail and an eye for quality
- Enthusiastic and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and desire for self-improvement
- Enjoy working in a thriving team atmosphere (we really do mean Team)
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional standing and frequent sitting are required, along with constant movement and use of limbs.
- Continually use hands and handle tools
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must have the ability to see details at close range
