Overview of Position:

Responsible for the physical possession of controlling and safely navigating a for-hire passenger van/shuttle, as well as any and all other company for-hire vehicles as assigned; the care of travel passengers, including their safety, security, and assisting them on- and off- the vehicle.

Hours: 2:00PM-10:00PM

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Drive a passenger van/shuttle and any other company for-hire passenger vehicles safely, efficiently, and courteously on all public highways and private property as directed, through all kinds of weather conditions.
• Treat all passengers, company personnel, and other individuals associated with their assigned work in a friendly, courtesy, and professional manner.
• Know and apply both safe driving techniques and the requirements, limitations and provisions of the DOT regulations, which pertain to the operation of commercial passenger transportation vehicles.
• Maintain the van/shuttle bus for cleanliness inside and out; along with mechanical and engine conditions to ensure to shape prior to being deployed.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ensure knowledge of assigned routes.
• Complete all required paperwork legibly, neatly, and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a driving record free of all major traffic citations, including no major "at fault" vehicle accidents.
• Help with the boarding of passengers; have the ability to load and unload baggage by hand up to a weight of 75 lbs.
• Other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:

• Possess and maintain an Operators Drivers License, willingness to obtain Commercial Drivers License, Class B, including a Passenger (P) & School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Should have a minimum of 2 years proven experience.
• Must be 25 years of age or older for interstate driving.
• Can have no more than one (1) moving violation in the past 5 years.
• Must be willing and able to drive anytime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.01 - $25.59 per hour

• CDL (Required)
• Passenger Endorsement (Preferred)
• School Bus Endorsement (Preferred)
