About This Opportunity

TCH is currently looking for a Small Parts Assembler in our Key Center to help support the ever-increasing customer orders/projects. This person will be assebling & pinning cores for locks per pinning chart and customer order.

Essential Job Functions

• Pull small components from inventory stock per customer order
• Properly assemble small components for complete lock
• Pin cores
• Assemble cores
• Cut operating keys
• Verify that lock works properly prior to packaging for shipping
• Package assembled units for shipping
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• Must be able to focus attention for long periods and do repetitive work
• Manual dexterity and the ability to pinch and grasp small components (pins and springs)
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Be able to read and understand TCH paperwork
• Possess basic computer skills in a Windows/ Goolge based environment
• Must pass a 10-year criminal and education background check to work in the secure facility

Working Conditions

Secure facility with individual benches ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Frequent exposure to petroleum-based lubricant; constant exposure to brass and nickel components. Perform repetitive assembly, pinching and grasping small parts, for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Cleaning of equipment and touch surfaces at the end of each shift. Plexiglass barriers between work stations. Mask-wearing is voluntary.

• Oakdale, MN 55128: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
