This is a Departmental Posting at the EVP level. All qualified candidates must currently report to Jill Brannon’s Sales organization. If the candidate does not currently report to Jill Brannon’s Sales organization, they will not be considered.
Job Summary:
Contacts customers and prospects within a defined geographic territory or on an account basis to sell FedEx international and freight services. Focuses on personal sales targets by developing new business opportunities, troubleshooting customer problems and enhancing existing customer relationships. May have special markets or complex product lines that require significant customer relationship skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree/equivalent. Three (3) years commercial or industrial sales experience. Ability to organize large amounts of information and establish priorities. Demonstrated ability to achieve major account sales as well as complex international sales. Strong human relations, communications and negotiation skills. Overnight travel required.
Abilities/Knowledge/Skills Considered a Plus:
Broad and deep understanding of the entire portfolio of products, related systems, and groups that are available to support the sales process
- Ability to collect appropriate supporting information from a variety of sources, analyze complex data to come to logical conclusions, and develop potential solutions and value propositions to win new business
- Self-leadership and Initiative
- Planning and Organizing skills, Relationship Building and Sales skills
- Track record of successful prospecting to identify new opportunities and a defined sales process to secure new and incremental business
Domicile: This position will be domiciled in San Antonio, TX sales territory.
Remote Work: The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on business need.
