Swimming pool service maintenance technician
$500 sign on bonus once six months of successful employment is achieved!!
A family-owned, long-time, independent pool service company is seeking a dedicated and reliable pool service technician to join our team as a long-term team member. The company prides itself on customer service, reliability, integrity and quality work and is focused on the Henderson area, south and west and NW Las vegas valley (actual routes will be in a condensed area). Candidate must have their own clean reliable pickup truck (or larger vehicle with a hitch), that is well-maintained and a smartphone capable of picture and video text and email messaging. Offering a four day work week Friday, Saturday and Sundays off and set four weeks off per year. Uniform, signage, supplies, and equipment provided. We use battery operated portable pool vacuums.
Qualifications: At least 1 year of pool service or pool industry experience beneficial (although willing to train the right candidate), as well as reliability, integrity and able to work by our service standards. Candidate should have the desire to make pool service a lucrative long-term and fulfilling career. Technicians are provided a full route. Specific annual income depends on how many pools are serviced weekly and on six monthly performance incentives earned, extra pay for additional responsibilities (filter cleaning, acid washes, and green-to-cleans and light repairs). Sign-on bonus after six months employment. Must be in good physical condition; able to lift 55 lb containers, and able to withstand all weather conditions. Presently paid at $15.00 per pool. The average pool tech services approximately 2 pools/hr and around 17-18 pools per day using a battery operated portable pool vacuums
Rewards: 70 pools per week with the above benefits included can make upwards of $54k per year. Technicians that want to do additional duties make over $55k. Technicians are required to take and pass the certified pool and spa operators course (CPO) at the end of the first year (paid for by the company). This is a full-time year-round position.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Pass drug tests and criminal background checks. Character References. Legally allowed to work.
