The Terrain Park Attendants job is to ensure parks are open, safe and have a contest ready appearance at all times. The employee will work closely with fellow Attendants, Grooming staff, Ski Patrol and Mountain Management to achieve these goals. Daily duties will include filling out park logs, feature testing, setting up and taking down fences, signs, ropes and being available for a variety of other jobs.

Terrain Park Attendants can expect to use drills, snowmobiles, shovels, sporks, snow cats, vert shovels, chain saws and a variety of other tools to achieve daily goals.

The Terrain park Attendant job is a seasonal fulltime job based on a 40 hour work week, with overtime available almost every week.

Terrain Park Attendant Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve as a host in the Terrain Parks for crowd control, guest education, safety awareness and guest relations.
• Understand and communicate the user responsibility code.
• Educate guests in terrain park safety.
• Install and maintain the terrain park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing and banners/flags.
• Rake, shovel and generally maintain terrain park features.
• Assist in terrain park special events.
• Daily trash and debris pick up and removal.
• Visually monitor terrain park features throughout the day.

Terrain Park Attendant Qualifications:

• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be a strong skier or snowboarder who can complete feature testing protocols from small up to medium features, bonus points for large features.
• Must thrive in the team environment with punctuality and attendance key.
• Must have a passion for skiing and riding.
• Must be able to enjoy the many changing weather conditions that the winter may present.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
• Must be able to move objects up to approximately 75 pounds about the workplace safely.
