Job Description Summary:
The part-time Testing Center Assistant is responsible for administering, scheduling, and proctoring of exams. The assistant will work approximately 28 hours per week and will be responsible for working at the Niles and/or Dowagiac testing centers.
Required Qualifications:
High School Degree or GED required
Computer Proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree
A minimum of one-year customer service experience or a combination of education and experience commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Knowledge of Excel
Work well under pressure and able to multi-task
Reliable and attention to detail
Must be able to work with little or no direct supervision
Other Information:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with faculty and staff to expand services of the Testing Center in order to meet the ever-changing needs of students, faculty, and staff.
Provide proctoring services including remote testing; in support of faculty, student services, and disability services in the Testing Center.
Enter and maintain examinations administered in the Testing Center which includes data input into Banner and filing.
Administer high stake exams, which includes yearly proctor certification.
Maintain cleanliness of testing facilities.
Assist and support other departments, as needed, to support the total student college experience.
Back-up the Testing Center Coordinator, as needed.
Support orientation and recruitment efforts of the institution by adjusting time for testing services to be available.
