This job is for 4 days a week split between two offices. Two days in one and two days in the other.

Newport Beach Office: 2424 SE Bristol, Newport Beach

San Juan Capistrano Office: 31461 Rancho Viejo Road, San Juan Capistrano

We are looking for patient, kind, caring, and creative teacher and instructor who loves helping others of all ages. Our patients range from toddlers to older adults who come to us seeking care for their visual processing deficiencies. You don't need to have experience in vision therapy specifically as we will educate and train the right person.

As a vision therapist you will work one-on-one with patients to help them learn and improve visual processing skills that are deficient either from poor development or from an acquired brain injury like a concussion. Our practice is the largest and most technologically advanced in LA county and we are proud to also be the only practice that solely focuses on vision therapy and vision rehabilitation. www.PerformanceVT.com

Qualifications:

• Responsible.
• Loves working with kids and other people.
• High school or equivalent education.
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, or coaching is a plus.
• Positive attitude.
• User level computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with patients in providing vision therapy that is prescribed and planned by the doctor
• Keep documentation and maintain clients files
• Keep a clean and stocked vision therapy room and office
• Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations
• Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
• Cooperate with and report on administration on any arising issues
• Answer phone and schedule patients
• Keep track of patient attendance
