We believe that one of the most critical roles is that of the warehouse leadwho Mentor/Guides our associates towards ensuring exceeding customer expectations thru following standard work practices, keeping safety and quality in mind.
Shift Assistant Responsibilities include:
You will Lead a small team of associates in our Kitchen and /or Warehouse with the responsibility of ensuring completion of work assignments and duties in a timely and efficient manner, all while utilizing established procedures and processes.
Job Deliverables will include:
- Administrative management of associates
- Job allocation duties to associates
- Monitoring and mentoring associates on productivity, Quality and Safety
- Monitor status of counts and any problem solving Queues
- Responsible for shift quality and associated action plans
- Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with the assigned team
- Set a positive, professional example for the team
- Provide assistance to front-line employees in performing functional tasks.
- Effectively coach employees
- Conduct Audits
- Movement of personnel between work areas, as needed.
Preferred Shift Assistant Qualifications:
1-5 years working experience in a similar environment and / or related field from a college or technical school and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in managing a process similar to that described in this job description.
College degree preferred, not required
Outstanding interpersonal and coaching skills
Self motivated with the ability to motivate others
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Past Warehouse leadership experience required to apply to this position. This position will report to the Facility Operations Manager.
- Normal Work schedule is Sunday thru Thursday afternoons/evenings
