Fragrance.com is seeking a
Warehouse Manager for our fulfillment center in
Austell, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for a high volume fulfillment center. You will administer all functions to ensure timely, accurate product receipt, order fulfillment and the optimization of resources and processes within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations which include, but is not limited to, picking/packing, checking, shipping, and inventory control.
- Plan and manage the daily operation of the Austell fulfillment center to ensure the timely and accurate receipt of inbound shipments; stock movement and completion of shipping of customer orders.
- Track production and quality to proactively identify improvements.
- Inspect physical condition of warehouse and ensure equipment operation and take appropriate actions regarding repair or replacement of equipment.
- Adhered to industry best practices for warehousing, material handling, Safety / OSHA Compliance and documentation
- Responsible for planning, organizing, leading and directing the activities of warehousing personnel, including hiring, coaching, training and development.
- Track and analyze data to determine appropriate course of action. Communicates finding with NY Headquarters.
- Ensure Warehouse operations meet continuous internal and customer needs.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships within all levels of the organization.
- All Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or Logistics preferred.
- Extensive fulfillment center/warehouse experience required including knowledge of basic fulfillment center management principles, scheduling, budgeting, and inventory control procedures through experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisor/management role in a warehouse/ fulfillment environment
- Prior experience with automation and robotics systems a plus
- Experience in a fast paced ecommerce fulfillment facility is desired.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
