Job description

Speedway is immediately hiring a warehouse processor to perform daily shipping of supply items to Speedway stores based on SAP shipping schedule. Duties include lifting of heavy objects on a repetitive basis, packaging and shipping of various store supply items, receipt of materials from stores and 3rd party vendors, and use of company computer and software programs to process the associated documentation from shipments and receipts.

• Shipping and receiving of goods to and from all Speedway locations as well as 3rd party Suppliers
• Warehouse floor space management
• Assist other warehouse employees as needed
• Use of forklift and pallet jacks (training provided)
• Prepare delivery of items for Repair Shop
• Completes other duties and special projects as assigned by management

Education Level

High School or Equivalent

Work Experience Desired

Warehousing, Logistics, or Material Management

Other Skills

Previous warehousing experience is preferred. Individual must have good organizational skills and be a motivated self-starter requiring minimal supervision. Must have the ability to lift more than 40 pounds on a regular basis. Previous warehouse and forklift operating experience is preferred, but not required. Candidate must be safety conscious. Experience with Word, Excel and other MS Office suite applications is a plus. Candidate must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to research and resolve issues.
