Premier Community Supports is now hiring a 24-Hour Residential ID/DD House Manager in Grants Pass, OR!

House Managers are responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of one of our 24-hour residential homes with a 3 person capacity.
Essential Duties
1. Residential Living Management: Manage their assigned House and all related Staff, Individuals, and related processes.
2. Person Centered Care: Utilize Individual support plans, current documentation, identifying changing Individual needs and collaborating with Individuals to encourage and facilitate the highest quality of life.
3. Referral Review: Be part of the referral review team to ensure that the Individual support needs can be met by Premier.
4. Behaviors that Require Physical Interventions: Provides supervision over Individual behavior concerns. Works to minimize Individual, staff, home, and Premier risk. Collaborates with Qualified Behavior Professionals to create quality programing, manage
behaviors, Positive Behavior Support Plans, and ensure DSP safeguarding intervention readiness.
5. Individual Medical Concerns: Provides supervision over Individual medical concerns including appointments, medication supply, Medication Administration, and protocols. Ensures accurate DSP provision of medication orders, medication dispensing, and subsequent documentation. Transports Individuals to Medical appointments or arranges for alternate resources when needed.
6. Financial Status: Acts with Sound Financial Judgement to schedule staff, have a full census, budget food and other expenses, vehicle costs, and other financial concerns.
7. DSP Staffing: Identify, assist and manage GHL and DSPs with tasks, communication with Individuals-Served/families, scheduling-to include shift coverage if needed, training on approach, create a work environment conducive to Premier staff retention, arrange for and provide backup, maintaining consistent contact, education on policies, utilization of Premier’s Progressive Discipline Policy, etc.
8. Compliance: Manage and resolve any issues by reviewing Premier policies and government regulations with Individuals-Served/families, DSPs, case management, and co-workers/supervisors.
9. Auditing Records: Ensures that all Staff and Individuals-Served/families’ information, Individual Support Plans, protocols, safety information, documentation, and training is accurate and up to date utilizing Premier’s weekly, monthly, and quarterly checklists.
10. Home Maintenance and Housekeeping: Ensures that buildings, vehicles, outdoor spaces, and all structures are compliant with Premier expectations.
11. In-Service Training: Educates GHL and DSPs around specific learning needs, following Individualized Support Plans and Medication Administration, vehicle/driving expectations, and other coaching needs. Conducts and documents all house meetings at least monthly.
12. Incident Reports/General Event Reports (GER): Ensures that incidents are reported in a timely manner. To clarify and accurately respond to incidents in a timely manner according to government mandates and PCS policies.
13. Lead Development: Educate, train and develop competent and self-sufficient Group Home Lead.
Requirements:Skills
1. Requires a functional understanding of local human service agency operations, specifically 24-Hour Residential.
2. Possess effective conflict resolution skills, problem solving skills, deductive reasoning and leadership skills.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills using tact, courtesy and cooperativeness.
4. Computer experience, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Therap and ability to use standard office equipment and software.
5. Ability to perform basic math functions.
6. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
7. Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, ingenuity, and initiative.
8. Ability to perform instruction, monitoring and assessment of the work of others.
9. Ability to travel locally and out of the area.
10. Able to work with minimal supervision.
