We are looking for a VISTA Volunteer Coordinator to recruit local, state, and national volunteers that will be trained to assist in many areas of service before, during and after disasters. Once recruited, engagement opportunities for volunteer cadre will be regularly provided, as well as detailed tracking of all volunteer hours will be reported.

Service Description: The Volunteer Coordinator will enhance the ability of BRACE to expand and develop systems to sustain a volunteer program. This will allow the organization to expand volunteer engagement in Citizen Corps, CERT, Emergency Support Function 15, Preparedness, Response, Recovery, and Mitigation throughout the counties in Florida covered by the program before, during and after disasters. Implement a system for screening and matching volunteers to needs of BRACE and partners. Coordinate the development of a volunteer committee that will ensure that volunteer policies, procedures, and standard operations are followed. Maintain files, training records and emergency contact information for all volunteers.

• The pay is $675.08/bi-weekly pre-tax, non-negotiable
• Requires living in/moving to Pensacola, FL
• 1-year term, can be extended up to 5 years pending supervisor approval
• applicant must have own reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $1,350.16 per month
