The Apple Card & Cash team manages Apple’s financial services products. Apple Card is built on simplicity, transparency and privacy, and designed to help customers lead a healthier financial life. Apple Card was announced as the most successful credit card launch in history by Apple and our partner Goldman Sachs. Apple Cash is a pre-paid debit card that allows customers to send money to friends and family or spend using Apple Pay. The Apple Card & Cash team is seeking an analytical and motivated professional to drive and support the evolution of Apple Card & Cash and the broader Apple Pay ecosystem. In this role, you will help chart the future direction of Apple Card & Cash by identifying and investigating new opportunities, projecting future results, and ensuring the business can execute against its long-term strategy. You will partner directly with product, marketing, business development, strategy and finance teams, working cross-functionally to deliver results, as well as working with external partners such as issuing banks, payment networks, merchants and other players to help deliver on our product strategy and roadmap. You should have experience and subject matter expertise in financial modeling, payments, banking, credit, risk operations, data science, and finance. This role is full-time and is located in our new office in Raleigh-Durham, NC.
Key Qualifications
- 3-8+ years of experience with a proven track record of success, including financial modeling, business analysis, finance, risk, and data analysis
- Deep understanding of product valuation modeling and marginal decisioning
- Experience developing business cases around market opportunities and partnerships — including strategy development, market segmentation, competitive analysis, and financial analysis
- Experience forecasting P&Ls for financial services (preferred) or other services-based businesses
- Ability to collaborate with different teams, create presentation materials and present to senior leaders to guide business decisions
- Ability to synthesize complex topics and distill key business dynamics to senior leaders and partners
- Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment
- Energetic and collaborative teammate who feeds off independent responsibilities and shaping the future of global payments
- Analytical and creative problem solver with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate to evolving business needs
- Proficiency with Apple products and applications is preferred

Forecast business performance for Apple Card and Cash and related features/services Develop valuation models for new and existing business plans Drive new product and feature evaluations anchored in business, strategy, and financial analysis to support executive decision-making on top priorities Some travel required (20-25%)
Education & Experience
BS/BA Degree in economics, finance, accounting, management, entrepreneurship or similar (Required)
