Creative Team Manager

Location: North Liberty, IA

Status: Full-Time

Schedule: M-F (8a-5p), no weekends required

Reports to: Ecommerce Manager

Position Summary:

This new role will manage existing and develop our new creative team. The underlying concept is to build a content creation machine that will feed large amounts of SEO focused content to our ecommerce websites. This will include mixed media of writing, images and blogs. This role will work with the ecommerce manager, marketing team and site owners to build a robust content calendar which will be the plan for the content juggernaut.

Core Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Co-create and own the execution of the Spotix content calendar
• Direct and motivate teams of graphics, videographers, writers and web designers to help them use their talents
• Work with manager to round out of content team with internal and external resources
• Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion based on the content calendar
• Collaborate with ecommerce manager and leverage our knowledgeable sales and service team for detailed information about our diverse product line for use in content work
• Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas and build detailed content rollout plans
• Monitor results of team efforts and propose actions for the future
• Leverage data and build dashboards to fulfill department and company goals
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Proficiencies:

• Proven experience in the creative process, marketing, graphic design, and brand voice
• Leadership, project management, and organizational skills
• Adobe suite of software and/or other creative tools
• Experience with social media platforms
• Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities

Job Requirements:

• BS/BA in Marketing, Design, or related field
