POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking to hire a Data Analyst to join our team at Kalera. You will take responsibility for developing data slide decks for upper management and C-suite executives, project managing with internal partners to build reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, deep understanding of data analysis tools and databases and the ability to “Tell the Story “With data in the slide decks you will create. This role will report directly to the Director of Production & FSQA at Kalera.
Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Create slide deck presentations that “tell the story“ to key business partners and executive leadership team
- Modeling of datasets and creation of reports in Power BI desktop
- Management of users, security roles, and data refresh tasks
- Identify business intelligence reporting needed by the business and work with internal partners to create it
- Write business / functional requirements as needed to facilitate communications on projects
- Able to organize and juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time
- Set communication plan for projects and internal business units
- Managing and designing the reporting environment
- Developing initiatives for data integrity and normalization
- Generating reports from single or multiple systems
- Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports
- Training end-users on new reports and dashboards
- Creating training materials and standard operating procedures
Data Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with Power BI analytics and data extracts
- Experience working as part of a data project team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced excel skills
- Excellent planning and self-directed time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and flexible/extended hours when requested.
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms
