Dental Float/ Full Time or Part time- (schedule flexible)

Our Nokomis dental office is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to work full OR Part time as a Dental Float. Your primary job responsibility is to help out in the office where needed, primarily in assisting the clinical staff in duties not directly related with performing dental treatment or services on patients, such as chairside assisting, cleaning clinical rooms/lab, turn over rooms, and complete tasks in the sterilization lab . You would also need to be proficient at the front desk by checking-in patients, answering phones, confirming appointments, and other various administrative duties listed below when needed. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• assist clinical staff with duties not directly related to performing dental treatment or services on patients.
• clean clinical rooms/lab
• perform tasks in sterilization lab
• complete CPR certification course
• greet patients and verify and update patient information
• assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
• schedule patient appointments
• complete next day follow up patient care calls
• confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol
• organize referrals to other medical specialists
• maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations

Wages : $17-22/hr. Dependent upon credentials
