About this Position:

Responsible for leading the regional shared services team of professionals that actively engage in recruiting and deployment activity to identify quality talent in the areas of production, professional, student and pipeline establishment for all of Honda’s U.S. Operations. Directs the regional talent acquisition and pipeline plans to meet the immediate and future needs of the organization, while incorporating branding and inclusion and diversity themes.

Responsibilities include:

· Be a developer of talent - hire good team players and ensure succession planning for key leadership positions within Talent Acquisition

· Directs the construction of regional shared services policies and practices which govern the recruitment and deployment of External Candidates, Internal Associates, Students, and Contingent / Contracted Talent; ensures diversity and inclusion practices are embedded in processes

· Builds relationships with key stakeholders and leaders to understand the talent demands of the business

· Focuses on implementing employment branding and continuous improvement themes to ensure processes are effective, scalable, and meet the needs of the business while balancing the applicant experience

· Oversees the construction of talent pipeline initiatives for current and future job openings,

· Utilizes recruitment analytics to communicate to key stakeholders and leaders the progress, gaps and trends in recruitment and deployment activities

· Manages strategies to engage technology and multi-channel, targeted recruitment campaigns to meet the talent needs of the organization with emphasis on sourcing highly qualified, diverse candidates.

· Ensures associate on-boarding experience builds engagement with Honda and leadership throughout the organization

· Drives utilization of data and analysis to ensure programs are structured and performing at set targets

· Risk and Compliance experience and understanding as it relates to employment law, audits

and regulations

· Customer and business client consultations; strength in influencing various stakeholders across the organization vertically and horizontally

· Proven ability to drive requests for proposals with various external partners and measure

quarterly Service Levels Agreements.

· Responsible for management and execution of business plans & budget

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience

  • 10+ Years of HR Experience
  • 7+ Years of Talent Acquisition Experience
  • 5+ Years Leadership - managing direct reports
  • Ability to manage complex professional & hourly labor attraction strategies
  • Direct multi-function team leaders

Required Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or other related degree preferred

Desired skills:

· Must be comfortable engaging with all levels of the organization

· Direct and establish new strategies to support attracting talent

· Leads/manages large scale project delivery – on time and budget

· Established professional acumen with strong verbal and written communications skills

· Demonstrated ability to be successful in a fast paced, matrixed management environment

· Team Location: located across the U.S. (main locations in Ohio and California)

· Travel: 15% - to support operations across the U.S.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
