Dermatology practice seeking Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant.

An ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, efficient under pressure, and a self-starter with the ability to learn quickly. The position also requires excellent verbal/written skills.

Daily tasks will include assisting the physician with patient care (both medical and cosmetic), transcribing into an EHR, providing patient education, following up with patients/pharmacies, and possessing the ability to accurately and efficiently enter medical data into electronic medical record system.

We are looking for an individual who enjoys working with people, can multi-task, and has a friendly, outgoing personality. Must have excellent computer/typing skills as well as maintain a sense of responsibility. Previous medical assistant experience in dermatology required.

Ideal candidates will also possess the following:

- Vast understanding of medical terminology

- Knowledge and articulation in discussing products and procedures

- Professional demeanor and attitude

- Natural inclination to take the initiative

- Computer savviness

- Punctuality

Experience with the following preferred:

- Transcribing into an EHR

- Electronic Health Records (EHR) / Electronic Medical Record (EMR) (MDLand preferred)

- Dermatology Diagnosis / treatments/ prescription protocols

- Experience with prescription prior authorizations and patient callbacks

References regarding character must be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
