JOB SUMMARY*
The Director of Data & Analytics will support the Finance & Data Team by providing critical insights for the business through enhanced operational & analytical reporting capabilities to support the revenue cycle, finance & data, sales, product, and operations functions at IVX Health.
The role will be diverse, challenging and offer ample opportunities for autonomy and growth. The Director of Data & Analytics will report to the VP of Finance and will have regular exposure to the CEO, CFO, and other senior members of the team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Build, lead, and manage the ongoing development and maintenance of IVX’s core reporting infrastructure, including an Azure data warehouse and Tableau data visualization tool
  • Enhance organization’s current data architecture framework for scalable & sustainable analytics
  • Implement and lead data governance functions, including data quality, metric definitions, and establishing sources of truth
  • Collaborate with the leaders of cross functional teams to create strategic dashboards and reporting to monitor and assess department-level performance & initiatives relative to defined KPIs and business goals
  • Develop analytical tools and training for data to be “self-service” to all data consumers at the organization
  • Partner with the Product team to deliver insights and create data-driven product lines such as pharmaceutical data sales and clinical outcome datasets for national payors

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in data analysis or information reporting
  • 5+ years in professional data analytics / data science role
  • Comfortable leading a team and acting as an individual contributor
  • Experience managing the consumption, transformation, and organization of different data pipelines and related ELT/ETL design decisions to transform raw data into business insights
  • Experience working with large volumes of health insurance claims data and/or structured clinical data from electronic health systems is preferred
  • Expertise in data architecture, data engineering, data governance, and data visualization
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to roadmap and implement reports and dashboards that communicate actionable business insights
  • Experience with extensive data sets and use of BI / data visualization tools such as Tableau and others
  • Experience with SQL, including familiarity with subqueries, aggregate functions and views
  • Comfort with ambiguity: apply analytical thinking to new, undefined problems, and be able to play any role in a fast-growing part of the organization
