Indigo Carolina Forest offers the finest senior living experience that encourages an active and healthy lifestyle for our seniors and we are hiring a Director of Nursing and Resident Services.

We are seeking a high-energy and passionate Director of Nursing.* As Director of Nursing and Resident Services,* you are responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the functions of the nursing department. The Director of Nursing will assume the primary role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and safe patient care. Supervises Unit Managers, Clinical Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Med Techs, and Caregivers. In the absence of the Executive Director, you are charged with carrying out the resident care policies established by this center.

Other duties include by not limited to:

• Set and monitor achievement of goals and objectives for the nursing department consistent with established philosophy and standards of practice and nursing ethics.
• Recruit,, hire and retain qualified nursing staff to deliver efficient resident care in accordance with the established staffing plan and state-mandated staffing requirements
• Communicates with courtesy when interacting with patients, physicians, vendors, and the public – in person, on the telephone, or by email.

Salary: $68,000 - $72,000

Requirements

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid Nursing License and complete core training within six months of employment.

Education/Experience:

• Strong leadership skills and experience in supervising and management
• One to two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of current Federal and State laws pertaining to assisted living and/or memory care communities
• Able to make independent decisions
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
