The Albert C. Wiltshire Employment Center recruits qualified candidates for positions within the Brooklyn Navy Yard, a 300-acre industrial park housing over 400+ businesses within the manufacturing, food, media, technology, and creative fields

A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based apparel company is seeking a Driver Helper ("Ride Along") to assist the driver. Some flexibility within the stated operational hours is necessary, as route start times are subject to change.

Responsibilities:

• Loading truck according to delivery schedule
• Operating sprinter vehicle in the NYC area and Long Island
• Operating vehicle in compliance with all laws
• Unloading/cleaning of equipment and vehicle upon completion of route
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
• Helping out in warehouse, loading/unloading delivery trucks.

About You:

• Enjoys interacting with people while representing the company
• Detail-oriented, reliable, on-time, organized
• Takes a proactive approach to work
• Comfortable working on feet
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Can-do attitude; does what it takes to get the job done
• Must be 21 years or older
