Description
We are looking for energetic & eager individuals who are looking to grow their sales career in the competitive arena of lithium batteries in the golf cart industry. As an Eco Battery Regional Sales Representative you will actively find new accounts and manage existing customers. Commission and benchmarks are driven toward batteries sold in the territory and compensation matches success. The Eco Battery Regional Sales Representative maintains and expands relationships with all our partners in their assigned territory.
REMOTE POSITION MUST RESIDE WITHIN: GEORGIA
GULF STATES covers: Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky
What You Will Do
- Enroll new dealer accounts. Present Eco Battery value proposition, and guide dealers through enrollment and on-boarding processes.
- Build, maintain and identify new sales leads including developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Communicate and educate product features, benefits, and Eco Battery Brand. Create effective presentation material to communicate field results, proposals, and activity updates. Train and educate retail channel sales staff.
- Execute marketing and sales plans to achieve targets by business channel and region based on KPIs and goals.
- Project regional sales volume and forecasts based on changing product and market trends, economic factors and competition.
- Contribute as a team member to various activities and projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems to VP of Sales.
- Implement strategies for sales in an assigned region or industry as delivered by VP of Sales.
- You will be on the road and traveling to dealer locations up to 3-4 days per week.
What You Need to Get the Job Done (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR at least five years of related experience required
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Effective and proven sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of technical or scientific products to be sold.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Must be able to travel to meet with clients or potential clients.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
