Front Desk Reception/Optical Assistant
Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated, responsible and outgoing person to be a part of a great organization. We are a new Optometric Office in Carteret, NJ that specializes in comprehensive eye exams myopia control, contact lens fittings and the fitting and dispensing of our designer eyewear. Our new front desk receptionist/optical assistant will be a welcome addition to our team who is both personable and welcoming to our patients. We are seeking someone with a willingness to learn who also has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Some of your job responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients upon arrival, verifying documents and checking in
- Answering telephones and making appointments
- Charging patients out and balancing financially at end of day
- Assisting in optical when needed, showing patients frames, explaining lens packages, etc.

Part time or Full time hours are available

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
