What to Expect:

Reporting directly to our General Manager, Into-Plane Fueling, the Fuel GSE Quality Control Specialist will serve as a company subject matter expert (SME) for ATA Spec 103 compliance and regulatory requirements as it pertains to fuel dispensing ground service equipment (“GSE”). This position is expected to complete all ATA Spec 103 equipment checks, including—but not limited to—the Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual inspection checks. The QC Specialist may also be expected to report and/or perform light maintenance duties that result as findings during routine inspections.

How you will make an impact:

Technical Expectations

    Complete all required equipment inspections and associated documentation, per regulations including, but not limited to, ATA Spec 103, NFPA 407, airline customer GFM(s), etc.
    Maintain all required documentation of inspections
    Maintain all required inventory of parts, equipment, and tools required for inspection work
    Provide primary support during audits (FAA, local authorities, IFQP, airline customers, etc.)
    Assist in any investigations pertaining to faulty GSE and/or fuel quality

    Provide operational process and safety feedback to frontline aircraft fueling agents

    Able to travel and self-manage
    Conducts work in a safe and environmentally conscious fashion by adhering to all company, industry, local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations and procedures

    Provide operational supervision and support


Qualifications

What you will bring:

Minimum Qualifications

    Strong understanding of safety and regulatory requirements related to into-plane fueling (ATA 103, NFPA 407, 40 CFR Part 112)
    Strong understanding of into- plane fueling standard operating procedures
    Understand and be able to communicate the impact of inspections and recommendations
    Timely and accurate completion of audit reports and project deliverables
    Can manage multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables against deadlines
    Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Minimum 1 year of experience in into-plane fueling

    Minimum 6 months of experience in GSE maintenance and inspections
