Turnaround Community Outreach, LLC, is looking for fully licensed (LCSW, LPC, LAPC, LMSW) assessors in the Gwinnett area. Turnaround Community Outreach, LLC is a CORE, servicing Child and Adolescents. We accept Medicaid, Amerigroup, Care Source, and Fee for Service. Mental Health Professional (Contract)
This position requires one to provide services to children, adolescents and adults who meet criteria for a variety of mental health concerns in efforts to address and treat a variety of mental health diagnoses. The mental health professional will be essential in providing individual and family therapy services to assist the individuals served in goals for rehabilitation and recovery tailored to everyone.
***Clinician must be willing to serve the Gwinnett County area, within a 50 mile radius of the clinic. Must have a business license (occupational tax certificate).***
A bilingual (fluent in English/Spanish) Therapist is a major plus!
Skill Requirements:
Applicant is required to have a Master’s degree within the helping profession (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, etc.) from an accredited college or university with full or associate licensure (LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, etc.) The applicant for this position must be organized, detail-oriented, an effective communicator and demonstrate the ability to work independently and as a team member. This position requires working in the community therefore private transportation is necessary.
Duties Include:
-Providing individual therapy, family therapy and crisis intervention to a caseload of up to 25 individuals.
-Collaborate with assigned paraprofessional and other identified supports to implement individualize recovery plan.
-Counsel individuals to assist in helping them identify their talents, strengths, and abilities with evidenced based practices.
-Complete documentation including but not limited to services rendered, discharge summaries and monthly reports in a timely manner.
-Ensure confidentiality and rights of individuals served are always maintained.
-Attend necessary meetings as required.
-Additional duties as necessary and requested by Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Director.
Required Education
- Master’s Degree
- Full or Associate Licensure (Applicants without licensure will not be selected for the position)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (1 year)*
- First Aid/CPR Training*
- Essential Learning*
- Can be attained through agency upon hire*
Required Experience
- Verified professional license in the state of Georgia
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, etc.
- Documented experience working with at-risk children and families.
- Must be willing to travel to the consumer's home in the Gwinnett area.
- Driver's License
- Must be punctual and timely
- PC or Laptop
- 2 years prior experience within the field
